For those of you feeling braver to experience something a little more off the beaten track then this is the option for you. The routes chosen will have some challenging sections involving hills and some off road conditions however are not too physically draining and something you wouldn't be able to do again on your own if you chose to.

How to purify water in the wild
This session explores the different methods someone can use in the wild in order to purify their water to be safe enough to drink.
Participants will get a demonstration of each of the methods and then be tasked with sourcing water and applying one of the methods as shown by one of the instructors.

One of the most popular activities with our customers and definitely one to experience if you are camping overnight with us.
Allowing the senses to truly expand and grow, this is an opportunity to put on the head torches and go for a guided walk in the dark.

There are a wide range of team building activities that we can deliver that are designed to test critical thinking, foster team cohesion, raise team morale and develop relationships whilst working in an outdoor environment.

Navigation, Map reading & Using a compass
The purpose of this activity is so participants will be able to understand the basics of using a map and compass and why this would be important in a survival situation.
You will be encouraged to show how they could do this in a real life situation and what other methods of navigation can be used when in the wild.
Building a shelter.
There are many different types of shelter that can be built in the outdoors, some for comfort and some for survival.
This session will introduce you to different shapes and styles of shelters, how to construct them, what to look for when making a shelter and some additional ‘top tips’
Starting and sustaining a fire
There are several ways to start a fire and to sustain it using various resources available.
There are 4 main methods to start a fire (Friction, Sparks, Sun & Chemicals). This session explores how to start a fire using 2 of these methods (Friction & Sparks).
Participants will be shown a demonstration of the different methods of starting a fire including how to prepare beforehand, how to sustain a fire and how to do so in a safe manner.
