Walking / Hiking

Walks (all ages & levels) half day

This walking experience is designed to test those who want to see some stunning views whilst enjoying well trodden and sturdy pathways that are easy under foot, with a nice relaxed pace suitable to the occasion.

Distances can be varied to suit the needs and requests of the individual or group, ranging from 4 - 12 miles.

This will include plenty of stops for snacks and water breaks.

(price inc. hot drink and snack en-route and sandwich and soft drink and fruit for lunch)

For those of you feeling braver to experience something a little more off the beaten track then this is the option for you. The routes chosen will have some challenging sections involving hills and some off road conditions however are not too physically draining and something you wouldn't be able to do again on your own if you chose to.

Distances can be varied to suit the groups abilities and the route chosen. Distance can vary between 8 - 18 miles.

Step outside the comfort zone here and put your stamina to the test! For those that want to have a strong pace (15 minute miles) and/or cross country off track routes, this will be something that offers you both. 

Distances can vary depending on the group abilities and the route chosen.  Distance can vary between 8 - 16 miles.

There will be stops for snacks and water breaks along the route.

Walking/Hiking & Camping weekend

After a day of walking or hiking (depending on our preference) why not enjoy an evening camping out under the stars with a fire to see the night away?


Want to try walking at night and allow your senses to grow? 

Would you like one or two nights camping out under the stars?

Would you like to cook your own food around an open campfire? 

Would you like to be shown how to make a fire from scratch using different bushcraft methods?

Would you like to learn how to use a map and compass efficiently?

Choose between one or two nights camping and what demonstrations and learning you would like to experience by working with us to tailor your weekend experience to meet your expectations.


Price includes dinner (on Friday evening), three meals plus two snacks on Saturday, 2 meals plus one Snack on Sunday

How to purify water in the wild

This session explores the different methods someone can use in the wild in order to purify their water to be safe enough to drink.

Participants will get a demonstration of each of the methods and then be tasked with sourcing water and applying one of the methods as shown by one of the instructors.

Night walk 

One of the most popular activities with our customers and definitely one to experience if you are camping overnight with us.

Allowing the senses to truly expand and grow, this is an opportunity to put on the head torches and go for a guided walk in the dark.

Different opportunities along the way to navigate using a map and compass under guidance from the instructors

Team building

There are a wide range of team building activities that we can deliver that are designed to test critical thinking, foster team cohesion, raise team morale and develop relationships whilst working in an outdoor environment.


These activities can be delivered as part of a full day or weekend experience

Navigation, Map reading & Using a compass

The purpose of this activity is so participants will be able to understand the basics of using a map and compass and why this would be important in a survival situation.

You will be encouraged to show how they could do this in a real life situation and what other methods of navigation can be used when in the wild.

Building a shelter.

There are many different types of shelter that can be built in the outdoors, some for comfort and some for survival. 

This session will introduce you to different shapes and styles of shelters, how to construct them, what to look for when making a shelter and some additional ‘top tips’

Starting and sustaining a fire

There are several ways to start a fire and to sustain it using various resources available.

There are 4 main methods to start a fire (Friction, Sparks, Sun & Chemicals). This session explores how to start a fire using 2 of these methods (Friction & Sparks).

Participants will be shown a demonstration of the different methods of starting a fire including how to prepare beforehand, how to sustain a fire and how to do so in a safe manner.
