I found my passion for hiking and bushcraft quite late in life but haven't looked back since! Theres nothing I like more then putting on my backpack and heading off into the Surrey hills no matter the weather or time of the day. I have spent the last 5 years visiting all the highest peaks across the UK as well as some mountainous regions in Slovenia. In 2017 I took part in a 17 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp and have got plans to return in 2022.
Whilst pursuing my dream of running my own expedition and survival skills business I took the decision to join the army reserves at the ripe old age of 34, to see if I could step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to do things I never thought I could do. The skills I gained, and continue to learn, as a British soldier are what has given me the confidence and courage to set up Ocsko Explore Ltd.
Having been trained by some of the best the British Army has to offer I hope to be able to provide an experience that you will never forget as well as giving you some basic skills you might need if you ever find yourself in a survival situation.
